On the day of the “World Edible Insect Day” on 26 October, Portugal Insect will promote a debate on the subject.
The goal is to “promote the use of insects in human food, according with the FAO guidelines which warned about the relevance of reincorporating insects as a protein source in human food, given their rich nutritional profile and low consumption of resources in the production process.”
